7th grade students from “Moša Pijade” Elementary School in Gudurica show how they make decisions democratically.

Step-by-step explanation

Step 1

The teacher and the class are deciding, where they want to go for their one-day trip.

Step 2

Each one of the students are giving proposals.

Step 3

Then they collect all ideas.

Step 4

After that they are voting and the proposal with the highest number of votes will be selected for the one day trip.

Results

As a result of the activity, dialogue, acceptance of diversity, team spirit were particularly emphasized.

Goals

The aim of the activity was for students to explore and better understand the principles of democracy, to develop creativity and teamwork skills, and to actively promote democratic values among their peers.

What is needed

We did not incur any material costs, as the activity was carried out at the school during class time.
