Short Description

The project uses the library as a space for children aged 10–11 to learn and experience democratic values such as respect, diversity, tolerance, solidarity, communication and participation. Through a Human Library Meeting, a Gardening Workshop and a Cultural Center Visit, children strengthen their communication skills, discover different perspectives and learn how cooperation can help build an inclusive and diverse community.

Results

Children improve their communication skills, develop a more inclusive perspective, strengthen solidarity, and gain a better understanding of democratic values.

Goals

By the end of the 3 activities, the children are
expected to:
improve their communication skills
develop a wider and more inclusive
perspective on the world
build a sense of solidarity
understand the core values of democracy

What is needed

Needed are a library space, simple creative materials, plants and gardening tools. For the activities, support from a person for the Human Library and cooperation with a cultural centre are also helpful
