Short Description

Wheelmap is a map for finding wheelchair accessible places. The map works similar to Wikipedia: Anyone can contribute and mark public places around the world according to their wheelchair accessibility. The Wheelmap is a participatory project! It thrives on as many people as possible rating places or getting involved in other ways. Wheelmap.org is a project of SOZIALHELDEN e.V. (located in Berlin, Germany). The association aims to sensitize people to social problems and encourage them to rethink. The SOZIALHELDEN have been on this mission since 2004.
